Mantras

Your words. Your voice. In your ear.

Write the lines that steady you and hear them back in your own voice — woven with the quotes that move you. On demand, or hands-free in your ear on smart glasses. Every other affirmation app plays a stranger reading at you. This one is you, reminding yourself.

The difference is the voice.

Affirmations work best in a voice you trust — and no voice is more yours than your own. So Mantras doesn’t hand you a stock narrator or a celebrity read: it renders every line in your own consented voice clone, and plays it back to you — including in your ear, hands-free, on smart glasses when you just say “play my mantras.” Nobody else does that.

Why I built this

A while after I lost my mother, I had a night I couldn’t sleep — grief and anxiety winding tighter the longer I lay there, a few hours’ rest and a mind that wouldn’t settle, the kind of night that tips toward a panic attack.

I reached for my glasses and said, play all — in my voice. I heard myself, calm and sure, reminding me of what was still true and still mine to steady. Within a couple of minutes I was asleep, breathing slow and even. It worked when nothing else had that night.

My mother died of suicide, estranged from her children. I can’t know what would have reached her — but a steadying voice she trusted, ready the moment she needed it, is the kind of small thing that can matter. I built Mantras so more people have one.

If you’re in crisis right now, reach a person.

Mantras is a tool for steadying yourself, and it works alongside real help — never instead of it. If you’re thinking about suicide or you’re in crisis, please reach someone now. In the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line) — free, confidential, 24/7. Outside the US, findahelpline.com lists a line near you.

How it works

1

Write your own — or adopt a set

Write the lines that steady you — “I do hard things,” “one honest hour,” whatever actually works — and pepper in quotes that move you, with the author kept. In a hurry, adopt a themed starter set in one tap; it drops into your list and becomes yours to keep or edit.

2

Hear them in your own voice

Set up your voice once (a short, consented clone) and every mantra renders in it — cached, so it’s instant after the first play. Not a narrator. Not a stranger. You.

3

Play them anywhere — or in your ear

Tap “play all” to hear the woven playlist, or say “play my mantras” on your smart glasses and JQ speaks them hands-free, in your ear, wherever you are.

Your voice today. A coach’s or a loved one’s, honestly.

Mantras play in your own voice now. Hearing them in someone else’s — a coach you train with, a grandparent’s recording — is real and coming through our coaching and Living-Voice programs, but only ever from a consented voice clone, never a scrape. The whole point is a voice you actually trust; we won’t fake one.

Say the thing you need to hear — in the voice you’ll believe.
